I hope your day is going well? I’ve been really busy the last few weeks. I’m not complaining, I love to have a feeling of productivity. I say this après coffee of course!

Tiredness always leads me to chocolate, so this week I’ve been opting for some healthier alternatives. This ‘recipe’ takes two minutes and is great for munching on what you want something sweet. I hope you are feeling in tip top form today? I’ve been doing quite a bit of research over the last week in regards to the weighing scales. I was never the biggest advocate of the scales, however I did find that they helped me over the last few weeks. Weighing myself made me realise that what I was eating was slowly but surely catching up on me. It gave me the kick in the bum that I needed to be a bit more mindful of what I was eating.
What I have noticed however is that when I eat healthier food and do some exercise, I don’t seem to lose the weight. I do however look and feel better. The scales seem to be going down when I eat more ‘low fat’ processed foods, that really aren’t the best for me. Despite the scales being lighter, I hadn’t noticed too much difference in my appearance, which for me is more important than a number. Continue reading
