Hey Guys,

Now that November has kicked off and it is officially Winter, this means it’s time to start planning our party outfits for the Christmas Season. I have been  lucky enough to have been given a sneak peak at Boohoo’s new Christmas campaign, aptly named #nightsbeforexmas. Needless to say it has me very excited so I decided to share it with you guys. The trends are jam packed with perfect pieces for any Christmas event. Whether you’re looking for a glamorous New Year’s Eve outfit or a day to night look for you’re Christmas work party, be sure to keep an eye on Boohoo’s latest editions.

As always everything is reasonably priced on Boohoo. This helps ease the guilt post shopping spree. Investing in occasion pieces for Christmas is always a great idea and styles tend not to vary too much each year. If you purchase a faux fur jacket, a sparkly dress or an extra glam blazer or jumpsuit, you’re almost guaranteed that you will get more wear out of it the following year. The trends for Christmas period always revolve around a glamorous and opulent appeal. Therefore us gals are perfectly justified in our fashion expenditure, that’s my excuse and I am most definitely sticking to it! So don’t forget to check out http://www.boohoo.com

Boohoo AW Collection

Hey Guys,

On Tuesday I was lucky enough to attend the Boohoo Mediastore_logo20140303080727_boohoo Day held in Lost Society, Powerscourt. As this was my first serious media day I was unsure what to expect. One thing I can say is, they know how to host an event! The place was amazing, perfect location and set up.

Walking through the dimly lit bar, I was greeted by lovely members of Burrell Marketing and Publicity firm and directed into the first decadent room brimming with fashionista’s thrawling through rails and mannequins of Boohoo’s AW collection. The room was magnificantly decorated with natural light shinning through the large windows to the right. Shining onto each amazing piece. To say I was like a child at Christmas is an understatement.

Each rail held the different trends to expect for Autumn and Winter; The Brooklyn Princess trend, Tartan & Checks and of course the Nordic range full of cosy knitwear, perfect for the looming winter weather. A personal favourite of mine was the Boohoo Boutique range, which has such a designer look for a seriously reasonable price. I personally love the Pastel colours that are present in the Boutique range (check them out below!)

What we ate

Sweets & Treats were found in abundance across both rooms. We were invited to choose our own Pick’n’Mix sweets, with mini cornetto-esque canapés served to guests.

What we drank

The second bar at Lost Society was home to the menswear collection and the DJ, we were treated to stylishly presented Lemonade and Prosecco with plenty of room to chill out and take in our surroundings.

OF COURSE, lets not forget the boys! Boohoo’s AW menswear is brimming with snapbacks, tartan scarves, graphic tees and winter boots. I personally love looking at the boys clothing range as I sometimes get a few bits for myself too, especially the hats and scarves!

Now that I’m after getting a sneak peak into Boohoo’s latest collection, I’m already planning my next purchases. I will definitely be investing in some cosy tartan and nordic winter woolies and of course embracing the pastel colours from the Boutique range. They are perfect for nights out and releasing your feminine side.

Despite the great prices, I can’t narrow down my wishlist so I think I need to win the lotto!

Happy Shopping lads & lassies 🙂
