I hope you’re having a lovely day? Last week I attended the Boohoo.com preview of what’s to come for the A/W months. The event which was held upstairs in Soder + Ko on South Georges St, had such a festive feel to it. It well and truly got me in Christmas mode (I’ll be shot for saying it I know!) Continue reading
Hello Beautiful People ❤
Happy Hump Day 😉 Today’s post is based around Boohoo’s collaboration with the beautiful plus size model Nadia Aboulhosn. The online retailer and the American influencer will be releasing a new line of clothing as part of the Boohoo Plus range.
The thing I love most about this collection is that the clothing included is stylish and encourages women to embrace their shape. In many cases, plus size clothing differ to what is available in order areas of the store or website. I’ve witnessed this first hand having previously worked in retail. Women would often get upset (or annoyed) that stylish clothing was not available in a plus size. Boohoo are combating this and proving that no matter what size the label says, you can look your best. I think more retailers need to get on board with this mind-set!
Here’s a sneak peak into my favourite’s from the new collection for Boohoo Plus
Cut out Dress €26.00
Long Sleeve Asymmetric Zip Dress €34.00
Long Sleeve White Top €26.00
Top €20.00 / Skirt €20.00
Black, Lace Jumpsuit €40.00
Asymmetric Skirt €20.00
I think Boohoo’s collaboration actually marks a pivotal stand against bullying and judgemental mindsets towards those who may not fit into a particular size. I personally believe that once you are healthy and happy then your size shouldn’t be something used against you. Size doesn’t determine who you are and it certainly shouldn’t determine your beauty and style.
So hats off to Boohoo who have proved that they are backing all shapes and sizes ❤
The collection will be released on the 23rd of March so be sure to check out http://www.boohoo.com for more.
Until Next Time My Loves
I am a big fan of pencil skirts and I think they are perfect for a night out. I tend to opt for a pencil skirt and top as opposed to a dress. I think it helps elongate my body and slims my hips. Pencil skirts are not only extremely stylish, they also streamline any body shape, giving a sexy silhouette. They are perfect for nights out but also for occasions. Just invest wisely in the colour! When choosing a pencil skirt, make sure the material is thick enough to cover underwear lines and the like but not too thick that it adds bulk. At the moment I am in love with the options currently available in River Island. The faux leather material is so flattering and the placement of the pockets will actually slim the hips and help create an hourglass shape. The band around the waistline will also emphasis your curves giving the illusion of an even smaller waist.
At €40.00 they are a complete steal and will go with everything. I already have a black and baby blue one but I can see myself investing in some more colours. The skirts themselves are very flattering and are so versatile.
White wrap blouse, €33.00 & black turtle neck top €25.00 both River Island
Metallic €59.95 Zara, €25.95 Black €32.49 Missguided, Nude €30.00 Boohoo
€17.00 River Island

Now that November has kicked off and it is officially Winter, this means it’s time to start planning our party outfits for the Christmas Season. Needless to say it has me very excited so I decided to share it with you guys. The trends are jam packed with perfect pieces for any Christmas event. Whether you’re looking for a glamorous New Year’s Eve outfit or a day to night look for you’re Christmas work party, be sure to keep an eye on Boohoo’s latest editions.
From sequins and sheer paneling to structure and faux fur trims, here is what you can expect from this alluring new campaign;
For the Girl who wants to Radiate Classic, Effortless Style
As always everything is reasonably priced on Boohoo. This helps ease the guilt post shopping spree. Investing in occasion pieces for Christmas is always a great idea and styles tend not to vary too much each year. If you purchase a faux fur jacket, a sparkly dress or an extra glam blazer or jumpsuit, you’re almost guaranteed that you will get more wear out of it the following year. The trends for Christmas period always revolve around a glamorous and opulent appeal. Therefore us gals are perfectly justified in our fashion expenditure, that’s my excuse and I am most definitely sticking to it! So don’t forget to check out http://www.boohoo.com
