If you follow me on Snapchat (DayDreamerChic) you will know that since returning from my holiday, I’ve struggled with healthy eating. Every day I tell myself ‘I’ll start tomorrow’ but never do. If I documented my daily diet over the last few weeks, you’d be shocked (and appalled!)
I openly admit to being a comfort eater. I eat bad food when I’m upset, worried, angry, stressed or basically any kind of verb (haha) Now however, it’s time to reign it in.
Instead of ignoring the issues and eating my way into oblivion (as fun as that is!) it’s time to take control. I need to get myself back on track both mentally and physically and regain some balance.
It’s time to start feeling good about myself again and rebuild some body confidence. I’m a firm believer that feeling good in your own skin can hugely impact all aspects of your life.
I’m starting fresh today, I’m keeping an open mind and trying to stay positive. I’m not going to cut out any food and go straight to 100% clean eating. I’m not trying to make up for the last few months. Instead I’m just going to (hopefully) maintain a balanced diet.
I’ll be updating my Snapchat (DayDreamerChic) along with my Instagram with how I’m coping this week. We all fall off the wagon, so I’m just going to drag myself back on it! Wish me luck!
