I hope you’re all having a great week?
I mentioned in my latest post in the Bikini Body series (here) that I am making a conscious effort to cut out fizzy drinks and overly processed foods. I’ve recently started to introduce the new Alpro Fusion offerings into my diet and I haven’t had a fizzy drink since.
While I’m a big fan of water and I always (try) to ensure I get my 2.5ltres a day, there are some occasions when I want an alternative with a bit of flavour. That’s where I’ve been substituting ‘diet’ drinks for the plant based Alpro Fusions.
My smoothie intake has also been on the rise lately with the recent bouts of good weather. While I do prefer smoothies that contain a juice, I am quite sceptical of the sugar and ingredients included. Instead I’ve been adding some of the Alpro Fusions as a juice substitute.
Over the last few months, I’ve really tried to place a focus on looking after my body. I’ve realised it’s not all about low calorie, no carb diets. It’s about good food and drink, getting enough sleep and looking after your skin. When evaluating products now, I do so on the basis of these factors.
My mini pamper session last weekend was just what I needed! I swapped my coffee for the Soya Apple & Kiwi as I was on ‘green’ mode!
If you follow me on Snapchat (DayDreamerChic) you will know I’ve been a big Alpro fan for quite some time. I’ve cut down on my intake of dairy significantly over the last few years and Alpro has been a prominent staple in my diet ever since.
I do try all new products with an open mind but only share the ones I love on the blog. I have a job that I love, so I’m not reliant on brands to pay me to promote their products, nor would I want to compromise the blog’s integrity.
I just found these drinks really handy as a great alternative when you’re craving something sweet but don’t want anything too damaging to a healthy diet.
Let me know if you try them and what you think!
