Another week, another food post…

Did anyone else find the Easter bank holiday weekend a bit detrimental to their healthy eating? Unfortunately for me, this continued for the week! My meals were healthy but I found myself snacking on Lindt bunnies in the evenings. I also had a family Birthday on Saturday which resulted in too much Prossecco and even more sugar!

I may or may not have also gone for a sneaky brunch which you would have seen over on my Snapchat: DayDreamerChic. I regret nothing if I’m honest!

I was sans exercise opportunities this week, due to a hectic schedule and a sore knee! I’m hoping to ease myself back into my workouts as I don’t want to do any further damage. Yes I’m aware I sound like an old lady but that’s what being 25 does to a girl.

While it is exciting, I think I have a slight case of the bikini fear. I’m a little late to the party, I know, but I always seem to leave it until the holiday is booked. That’s when it becomes real and I realise that I need to get off my ass and sort this bod out.

I’m going to be using these weekly food and diet posts to document my progress and any set backs I may have in the run up to my Summer holiday. The Lindt bunnies are now gone (because I ate them all) and I’m left with no excuses.

I’m back to drinking green tea (forcing myself as I’m really not a fan!) and I’m also reducing my alcohol intake. Basically my goal for this week is to cut out the empty calories and replace them with wholesome, nutritious food. No processed food or drink allowed except for cheat day. I need to get myself back in the game!

I bought plenty of healthy food to keep me going throughout the week!
