Hello Beautiful People
How did your healthy eating go last week?
Mine not so good.
I always feel so disheartened when I have to physically type that it didn’t go well. That is why I started this segment of the blog, it’s motivation in itself! I ate well 60% of the week but that other 40% was pretty horrific. Dear Lord, I ate enough to feed a small family… of seven!
As you will have seen from my Snapchat (daydreamerchic) this week has been all about that sugar! I think it’s mainly tiredness, whenever I have a really busy week, I reach for the chocolate. Mother’s Day certainly didn’t help. I single handedly demolished a box of Raffaello – yes the box I had bought for my Mother (sorry Mam!)
It was a weekend of pancakes & prosecco ❤
My meals during the week however, were relatively healthy and I’ve been trying to eat more protein and green veggies. If you had of told me, this time two years ago, that I would actually enjoy avocado that didn’t come on nachos, I would have laughed. Never the less, here I am actually looking forward to eggs and avocado for breakfast. If I can just put the chocolate down, I would be sorted!
Smoothie: kale, spinach, agave, blueberries & Alpro Soya ‘plain with almond’ flavour.
Scrambled egg from The Body Coach’s Lean in 15
In the same way that I can’t achieve amazing results in a week, I haven’t undone all my good work. It was just a hitch, albeit a poorly timed one. I have a few birthday nights out, dinners etc coming up, so if you see me in lose clothing you’ll know why haha. This week I’m drawing a line under my unhealthy snacking and starting fresh.
