How are you all today?
If you’ve been following my Snapchat (DayDreamerChic) you will already know that I was sick this week and craving chocolate. My willpower always goes straight down to zero when I’m unwell. My meals were predominantly healthy this week, it’s just the snacking on sugar that was the issue.
I was getting frustrated but by Sunday, I realised that we all need a break from time to time. If we’re sick, it’s ok to take a break from diet and fitness and just treat ourselves.
I’m still not 100% better and I do feel drained, so I know the cravings are not going to disappear. I am however determined not to spend the first half of my week eating crap. I say first half, as I am going to Prague on Thursday and let’s be real here, I am going to enjoy my food while away. I’m not one of these people who can diet whilst on holidays.
I have put together my five favourite ‘moderately’ healthy alternatives for the infamous sickness cravings.

I know that the nutritional info for each of the above is not exactly fantastic, but it’s much better than the large galaxy and tubs of ice-cream I was initially eating!
After about five days of being off the wagon, I know it’s going to be harder to get back on track this week. It is doable though. As I type this I have all my food prep done and have made some vegan, raw brownies which are currently setting in the fridge. Once I try them (and evaluate) I will pop the recipe up in the food category so you can all enjoy too 🙂
