Hello Beautiful People ❤
Happy belated Easter! I hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend, it’s great to have some time to take a step back from a hectic work schedule. This week’s food post isn’t as good as last weeks and the week before. I have had a very social week for want of a better word. We all know that stands for a calorific week. From nights out, dinner dates and just tea and chocolate over chats with my best friend, I haven’t been all that strict. I do however believe life is all about balance.
I didn’t gain or lose anything this week, which is probably fairer than what I deserve. While I want to get back on track next week and cut down on the treats, I’m not going to make myself feel too guilty. Life is for living and I had a great week. I don’t want to sit at home, hungry and miserable. I want to be out socialising, albeit maybe making some better food choices, but I will try going forward.
Here is a look at my food diary for the week:
Breakfast: Weetabix & Almond Milk
Lunch: Homemade Quiche and Sweet Potato wedges
Snack: Liberte fat free yogurt
Dinner: Tuna, wholemeal pasta & pesto
My Downfall: Chocolate Hobnobs and tea
Breakfast: Overnight Oats
Snack: Nakd Bar
Lunch: Cully & Sully Soup, wholemeal ‘slimster’ & a banana
Dinner: Prawn Stir Fry
My Downfall: Cadburys Mini Eggs & a Kinder Egg
I did also have a Nando’s and an Eddie Rockets last weekend. Both is just too much and I should have known better. Sunday’s post alcohol feeling of death however clouded my judgement!
I enjoyed my Easter weekend, there were of course plenty of chocolate and treats! This is what I woke up to yesterday morning, so I did over indulge, but it’s Easter and in my family that means food!
I don’t feel that I’ve undone all my good work from the previous weeks so letting it get to me is pretty pointless. I will just have to put some extra effort in this week 🙂
Have a great day everyone! ❤
