I am constantly on the go and I am terrible for going to bed late so I am therefore always tired. Whether I’m in work, writing articles or even going out, I tend to look for something to give me an extra boost. Thus sums up my love affair with coffee. I am however trying to limit myself to 1-2 coffees a day but find my energy levels slipping due to this. I am always reading articles saying that green tea is brilliant for boosting energy levels, however I am not a lover of green tea. I used to try force myself to drink a cup every now and then, but I can’t remember ever finishing a cup properly. It’s just not for me.
A friend of mine recently heard me complaining about how tired I was (regular occurrance) and she gave me a green tea tablet. I could not believe my energy levels after half an hour of consuming the tablet. I can’t remember the last time I had such a productive day. I bought the tablets at the weekend and have been taking two a day and I have noticed a significant boost in my energy levels. I decided to share this with you guys in the hope that you can also get some benefit from these little wonder tablets!
Now I am conscious that the tablets say ‘diet’ on the label and I would be strongly against any sort of ‘diet pill’ I questioned the lady working in Holland & Barrett and she said it’s primarily for PR purposes and that all consumption of green tea can aid in weight loss as it boosts your body and immune system. She informed me that these tablets are a mere replacement / supplement for those who don’t drink green tea (like me!)
Here is a list of the ingredients included in the tablets:
|Two tablets contain:||% EC RDA*|
|Vitamin B6||25mg 1,786%|
|Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) (leaf)||405mg **|
|Ginger (Zingiber officinale) (root)||60mg **|
|Guarana (Paullinia cupana) (seed)||14mg **|
The tablets are currently available in Holland & Barrett for €11.95 or there is a special offer on where you can purchase 2 for €12.00 (Limited Time)
Hope you enjoyed guys 🙂
